Amphetamine uninstall

Hi,

I had dowloaded Amphetamine from the app store a while ago and now want to delete it and ALL of its other files wherever they may be. I have tried to contact the developer but always get locked out from sending my email...something like "forbidden" comes up.

I have searched the Mac HD and see some files that look like they belong to Amphetamine, but am not sure and don't want to fool with files I am not sure of.

There are many uninstaller on the web which I am sure might cause havoc.

I have deleted the application, but want all of it gone.

Is there a way to accomplish this without getting into trouble?

As you noted, the various "uninstallers" on the Web cannot be trusted. To avoid.

If you installed the app from the App Store, you can just drag it to the Trash.

Any other files it stores on your Mac do nothing whatsoever. They would just be preferences or config files.

Apps from the App Store cannot install anything anywhere that would cause any issues.
