orange/yellow dot in status bar - who is listening to my calls

I am using iOS 14.2. On a call yesterday, I noticed the yellow or orange dot above the signal strength bars. An article said it means someone is listening to my calls and Control Center would tell me which App was doing it. I went through settings, and to control center, and could not find it. Can someone please tell me how do I find this out? It does me no good to know that someone is snooping if I can't prevent it. thank you. PAF

No, the article does not say someone is listening to your calls. What is means is the microphone is active. And, if you are on a phone call, for anyone to hear you, the microphone has to be active. All you need to do is swipe down on Control Center and it will display the app at the top center of the page. It does not require any settings changes to Control Center.
