Huge uptick in spam email

Is anyone one experiencing a large amount of spam and foreign spam email?

abuse@icloud.com is gone and left with reportphishing@apple.com.

apple support was no help and was put on hold in chat on Tuesday at 1pm and still nothing. Is apple lost their postion of being better then gmail, outlook ect.

Flooded with bitcoin spam. Is there a blacklist for @me.com mail? I am being flooded with stupid spam from bitcoin fraudulent emailers. I have used all tricks with the Mail app. Blocking every e-mailadres and redirecting to the spam folder. With my other commercial e-mailaccounts, I have the possibility to fill spam assassins or direct block e-mail on key words. Does blocking contacts in the Mail app have any affect on the behavior of the mailservers @ Apple? Is this something Apple is preparing or do I need to contact Apple support directly to block this kind of spam? Hope to hear from you soon Regards Paul

Personally haven't been seeing anything as such on my end (knock on wood). Just continue the reporting, or consider providing feedback - https://www.apple.com/feedback/.

Yes! I hardly ever get junk/spam emails to my inbox but I’ve noticed over the last month, I get about 5-10 spam emails in my inbox per day! It’s crazy!!! I forward all of them to “spam@icloud.com” to no avail.
