Screenshot not displaying password

Occasionally I need to share a password with my family. In the past I was able to screenshot the info from Settings>Passwords>Account. Recently I've noticed that when I screenshot an account, it will capture the Username but leave the Password blank. I am the only one in my family with an iphone so airdrop isn’t an option... thank u

Hello idk1idk1,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with your screenshot not displaying the password from Settings > Passwords. We are happy to share information that may help.

What you're experiencing is expected behavior in order to increase the security of your usernames and passwords. An option you may want to try is to copy and paste the password in a message when you need to share it. You can copy it by pressing on the password until it is highlighted and the option to copy appears. You can paste by pressing into an empty field until the option to paste appears.

If you'd like to leave feedback, please use the following link: Product Feedback.

We hope that helps. Take care.
