The confusion is on the JBL speaker. The Bluetooth connect button is NOT next to the on and off button it’s next to the + - volume button on the side. Love this speaker. It works great!

The most common mistake is confusion with the Bluetooth button on the JBL. See my above post. The button is next to the + - volume button.

Yes I know where the button is, and it actually pings when it pairs. You can also pause your iPhone my pressing the play button twice and it controls your iPhone but there’s still no audio for me.

This is not working for me. The JBL 4 and iPhone 12 will not connect.

Thank you for the tip, should have been able to figure that out. Spent days puzzled as to why I couldn’t sort it. Happy I can blitz my music now 😊

Reset your JBL speaker.., turn speaker on and hold down the mute and +volume up at the same time until the speakers shuts down…then turn speaker back on and turn on pairing!!!
