iPhone 12 pro max heating up

I just happened to randomly notice it today, of course on Thanksgiving. Not using it heavy at all. Just basic browsing, reddit, etc, Eero pro app, etc.

I’m also facing iphone heating issues. Nevertheless I think it’s the time to move on from apple to another brand.

Me too! I am having the same issues. I just got it and I am starting to get frustrated with it. What a waste of money.

Why iPhone 12 pro max have heating issue even latest a14 chip is very fast and smoth? Why iPhone 11pro max not heating if apple can't make any hardware to reduce heating issues?

My brand new 12 max pro is getting very hot. I ha e shut down back ground apps. It does not occur all the time but when it does it is too hot to hold.

Then why does browsing the same things on my iPhone X, iPhone 12, iPhone XR, iPad not over heat? It’s just my iPhone 12 pro max. Seems other people are experiencing the same same.

Same here, I purchased mine this past Sunday and just my second charge since then and already hot while charging. It is only 63%. Will check with the store I purchased.

Did the replacement solve the problem? Or it’s overheating as well?

I am having the same problem. It gets really hot. It is not normal. Something is going on with this phone.

Yep and all they are going to say its normal as they already said. Until the damage is already done to our phones

Mine heat to the volume side I don’t know what is causing it I’m using WiFi no charger attached

Just brought my IPhone pro Max yesterday .. was on FaceTime with my partner and noticed my phone was heating up? Something I would expect with an old version like a S6

Everyone is have that issue. Apple is well aware of it but probably doesnt want to fix bc of cost

yup, they won't fix it. Most premium phone and they don't care to fix issues. They will just keep launching products and won't care to address the products they have
