I am having trouble streaming video from my iPhone to my Sony TV. I can select the TV for mirroring and the iPhone interface shows up on the screen, but when I try to stream video, I get an Error 225650 saying it is unable to stream the video. How do I find out what this error code means and what can I do to resolve the problem?

In some cases, certain apps may prevent video from mirroring to your TV. This can be for copyright or privacy purposes.

Thanks. The problem was the video itself which could not be streamed from a browser. It required a specific app which I could not load on my older Apple TV. In the end I upgraded to a newer Apple TV.
