I've have the latest software on my iwatch 6 and iPhone xr. Always after using CarPlay with my iPhone the incoming calls don't show up on my iwatch anymore. I can make outgoing calls and I receive a message on my iwatch that i've missed a call. But at the moment that somebody calls, it stays completely numb. I always have to restart my iPhone to solve the problem. I don't think that should be the case. Thank you for helping me with this.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with call notifications on your Apple Watch after being connected to CarPlay. You mentioned that restarting your devices corrects the issue. Have you tried unpairing and repairing your devices to see if that fixes it? If not, that would be a good place to start.
