Is there a way to put the wireless headphone icon on the iphone 12 mini? I had it on my iphone 7 and now it doesn't appear on my 12 mini when I connect my headphones.

My guess is that it appears in Control Center, like it does on the other iPhones with Face ID. There is very limited amount of room on the status bar, so it cannot be displayed there.
That's what I figured. I was hoping there was a way to swap out one of the existing icons for the wireless headphones icon to appear on the status bar. I assume there is not?
