Is anyone else unable to attach or upload a file after Safari update 14.0.1. I'm using Mohave 10.14.6

Same here. After updating Safari to 14.0.1 I was unable to upload any files. Called Apple support on 11/16/2020. They had me on hold for 45 minutes. When they finally connected me with a technician, I was on the line with him for another 40 minutes and resolved nothing. He suggested that I install Chrome or Firefox. Unbelievable, Apple installs a crappy update, they can’t fix it, and their solution is to install someone else’s software.
I am having issue uploading and/or attaching a file using gmail. I have Safari 14.0.1 and use Mohave 10.14.6
Yes, mojave 10.14.6 and safari 14.0.1, Chrome, Opera and Firefox works fine.
I hope it will be fixed ASAP.
hello, i have the same problem too. Apple needs urgent updates. I am using Mojave 10.14.16 and Safari 14.0.1.
For me when I restored Mojave it put Safari back to version 12. Thus things started working. Once I applied all of the OS updates, including Safari 14.0.1, things started failing again.
I can’t either. I have to go through Google chrome to access my email in order to download some thing. WTF?
After latest Mojave update (10.14.6) today, I can no longer attach documents on email (either gmail or yahoo). I have already quit Safari twice, and shot down and restarted. The problem persists.
Same. Upgraded to Mojave and can't upload anything anywhere in Safari.
High Sierra worked like a charm.
I can't tell for sure, because now when I open Safari it hangs- same versions of Safari and Mojave.
Any updates to this problem??
Frustrating that Time Machine doesn't allow restoring previous working version of Safari :-(
For me Time Machine with snapshots on the MacintoshHD worked very well and very fast (all together 5 min) to restore.
It won't allow me to overwrite the 14.01 with the earlier 14.00 from a Time Machine back up
Tried renaming it / duplicating it / moving it but it seems like its treated like a system file.
I've temporarily switched to Chrome until a Safari update fixes this. I've seen the same thing on 3 different machines. Really surprised they haven't issue an update yet to address.
Same here. Just discovered the problem trying to upload a file to the BBB Web site. Also Safari 14.0.1 (14610.2.11.51.10). Mojave is the OS, latest updates.
No mine is just Safari, Chrome def works. Cannot attach a file to my web mail through the browser.
