Safari update 14.0.1 issue uploading files
Is anyone else unable to attach or upload a file after Safari update 14.0.1. I'm using Mohave 10.14.6
iMac, OS X 10.10

Same here. After updating Safari to 14.0.1 I was unable to upload any files. Called Apple support on 11/16/2020. They had me on hold for 45 minutes. When they finally connected me with a technician, I was on the line with him for another 40 minutes and resolved nothing. He suggested that I install Chrome or Firefox. Unbelievable, Apple installs a crappy update, they can’t fix it, and their solution is to install someone else’s software.

False. Chrome works. Also, drag and drop still works. But not every program supports drag and drop. Mailchimp and Upwork are 2 examples.

Same here, i made the two updates 14.0.1 and 14.0.2 and same problems again. What is going on there? Sending out updates with the same bugs.
14.0.2 did not fix the problem.. still cannot use the upload button.. this is ridiculous!!! come on apple get with the program!!

Same problem here. I deleted cookies and history, updated safari. I'm surprised this bug has persisted for so long.
Yes I have to switch to Chrome. It’s annoying as so many of my passwords are safari related and now I have to try to remember them for chrome UGH
This is so frustrating. Even in Safari 14.0.2, this is STILL a problem. I have sent Apple feedback twice now. This kind of workflow-breaking bug is so annoying!
Is this issue still not solved? I recently updated Safari and cannot add attachements with gmail or hotmail. Chrome works fine
Yes please everyone report it! Yeah I guess you have to have a Developer ID to get the feedback.

Attachments work in Chrome. Didn't realize it was an Apple issue.
And the problem still hasn't been resolved as of Dec 21. Ridiculous.
Yup. Ran into it during a job application today and had to start all over in Chrome. Super fun.
