I have just upgraded to the new OS Big Sur. I just experience a crash from Safari. The termination reason is Namespace ASSERTIOND, Code 0xd00d2bad. What is that mean and Why did it crash?

Yes, you are correct. It is fixed in the latest macOS 11.2 s-e-e-d, but you may want to wait for the official release to update.

I'm seeing the same here. Today I just noticed that I crashed just as I clicked on the 1Password Extension to unlock it. Not sure if this is the cause but it at least seemed to cause the crash I just saw.
Regarding crashes from sleep - I've also seen this. I've been running without Power Nap for a while which eliminated all my sleep/wake crashes, but I've seen about 3-4 crashes since I installed Big Sur. Disappointing.
I see lots of questions and no recommendations/solutions under this important topic. It seems like Apple has failed in the production of this update, it must fix the issue asap with an update . This is the most annoying bug I have ever seen in Mac OS updates.

I experienced this crashes ever since I upgraded to Big Sur. I had no problems like this in Catalina. I have updated to Big Sur 11.1 in the hope that this issue will go away, but I've had two crashes so far.
My Safari version: 14.0.2
The only plugin I have: Grammarly.
Same thing happening to me on my iMac, crashes several times daily now inc overnight when iMac sleeping. Only happening since Big Sur upgrade
You can enable battery % once again by going into System Preferences -> Dock & Menu Bar -> Battery and checking the 'Show Percentage' option
Well, I'm using 1Password!
In my case there's only Notebook Web Clipper as extension to Safari and it's a part of the notebook app. There are no other extensions. Wonder if I should delete the notebook app, if I can?

I have the same issue. Every day, sometimes when I'm working, sometimes when the macbook is in sleep mode Safari closes with an error. And it has started right after upgrading the macOS to Big Sur
Same issue here w/ MBP 16", it repeats every few days. Got different plugins than others here so it won't be crashing bcs of them.
I downloaded it too. No use at all.
