spinning wheel bug that plays the iPhone when you use dictation?

It sounds like you’re unable to use dictation on your iPhone, and we're happy to help.  If you haven’t already, please try restarting the iPhone:


Restart your iPhone


If the issue is still present, please back up your iPhone before proceeding:

Once you have backed up, you can reinstall the iOS software using these instructions:


If you can’t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If the issue is still present, try restoring the iPhone to factory settings and setting it up as a new iPhone:


Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings


If this issue is present after restoring to factory settings, you should contact Apple Support using this link:

No and Apple does not have an answer and hopes it will be solved on the next software update. The spinning wheel happened on my old 6S and is happening on my new SE and happens when I use the dictation mode on the keyboard while texting. I have had several chats about this and then they handed it off to the engineering department and no one seems to have an answer.
