Orange bar in the upper right corner and appearance of on/off icons

on the screen when it says swipe up to unlock there is a little horizontal bar in the upper right of the screen. I believe that's just indicating that there is a menu you can pull down (Control Center)

ahh perfect.. it's exactly what I said it was..

similar to the horizontal bar at the bottom indicating that you can pull upward, I believe the one in the upper right is indicating that you can pull downward (to access control center)
