Am I hacked again?
Long story short I hired a developer to build me a VoIP PBX server. He told me he needed my a Google email to send voicemail to email in a wav file. He had me authenticate some code for him in my Google Authenticator. He switched my modifier keys back to a non Mac keyboard. I also noticed something Chinese characters in my keyboard shortcuts which I disabled. This is odd because he isn't Chinese.
He's logged into my investing account and changed a phone number. Tried to message me on Skype from weird user names. I've also gotten calls from weird numbers and one from Romania. I remember seeing something called fraudjs.io
Of course, I didn't reply or pickup at his fishing attempts. Since then I wiped out the OS and completely reinstalled everything and changed all my passwords. Even now I think he's trying to access my password manager because it'll freeze up even after I force quit, it won't close.
I still think he's got accesss to my computer because I see an abnormally high usage from something called kernel in Activity Monitor
I screenshot a suspicious looking 'remote' from my Activity Monitor. Please help, I just reinstalled everything. Should I reinstall everything again and change all my passwords? What should I do? Thank you in advance.
There's a software installed on my Mac I'm not familiar with called
