Problems managing emails from IMAP account

I have a Zoho IMAP account on my iPhone which was working just fine until about a month ago when I noticed I could no longer move emails on my iPhone into iCloud folders. They would delete from the inbox but not appear in the iCloud folder. At the same time I noticed that when I delete emails on my iPhone they no longer delete from the Zoho desktop. This is very unfortunate because I manage my emails from my iPhone and I can't move them into folders and they're not deleting from the desktop. My iPhone 7 has IOS 14.2. I tried deleting and reconfiguring the Zoho IMAP account but that didn't resolve anything.

  1. Does this occur with any other email accounts?
  2. Are you moving the emails to a folder under the same Zoho account or are you wanting to move them to a folder under a different account such as iCloud Mail?
  3. Did this happen after specific event such as changing account details, updating the iPhone, adding or removing the account from the iPhone?


Let's also ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS and if you haven't already done so, you'll want to reach out to Zoho to check if there's any known issues with their services:
