Open recent menus all empty in Big Sur
Since running Big Sur, all apps "open recent" menu are empty regardless of me using them . does anyone know why this is happening and how to get it back?

for anyone wondering.. I folded this by going to system preference - general - open recent limit which had somehow defaulted to 0
I can open apps, but cannot open any System Preferences on my iMacPro using Big Sur 11.0.1. Just get messages saying "Preferences Error".
