Ipad stuck in Guided access

The ipad's guided access mode was turned on with passcode and i dont remember the passcode to turn it off. I read online that force restart should put me back to the home screen and i can go to setting to turn guided access off. But everytime i try to force reboot by by pressing the power button and Home button for 15 sec. It reboots and again enters the same app and Guided access is still on. I am not able to come out of it. When i try 3 click home button it again asks for passcode which i do not know.

Forgot guided access passcode We put guided access on our sons iPad but forgot the passcode to unlock. We have trying to force restart but the guided access remains once it restarts. How can we remove it??

Guided access When trying to end my guided access on my iPad mini it is not popping up with the box to allow me to input my passcode to end it. I’m triple clicking my lock button to no avail, also tried to force restart but it won’t even slow me to do that.
