How to set key photo/ poster frame for videos in Big Sur?

Hi,

I have a few home videos stored in albums in photos on my Mac - in Catalina I had a gears icon and could easily pick a frame in my video and set it to be the key photo / poster frame.

in big sur the gears icon is gone and clicking make image key photo in the image drop down menu doesn’t work on videos only for photos.

Help! Anyone know if it’s just something I’m not doing or has this functionality been removed?

Thanks

You can select a poster frame in Edit Mode. View the photo enlarged, then click "Edit", then use the film strip below the video to skim to the frame you want and click "Make Poster frame."
