iPhone 12 Pro Max Issues

I’m having camera issues too! I get green orbs when taking pictures after dark while in lighted rooms, and when I try to take a picture of the moon while on the patio. I can’t understand, this is supposed to be the “best camera” ever. I received a replacement, but that one has the same issues! In addition the picture color in the replacement is washed out-looking compared to the phone I’m supposed to return.

Charging creates heat. Unless the phone is shutting down to cool, don't worry about it.

I've never heard of this, so if your phone is doing this, I would contact Apple Support directly as this sounds like an optical stabilization issue.

Please check your volume settings, there is a setting that does not allow you to go beyond certain db. That might be checked. This is just to keep volume low to avoid loud or higher db sound even if you increase volume. It can be set in db.

I totally agree. I did turn my phone in for a new one and wish I had gone to the 11 Pro Max. I am not a frequent phone upgrader. My new phone I can at least hear a phone call without the speaker being on. But all other issues continue. Especially the HOT issue. SO disappointing for a company like Apple to put out an expensive LEMON...

About point 3.

This is probably caused by indexing the photos / videos and usually (depending on how many photos and videos you have) it lasts a few days, this also happens with major updates of ios.

EXACTLY the same issues with my 12 Pro Max.. Can’t hear phone calls (they’re sooo low, no matter how high I turn up my volume on my phone) and voice memos are static and you can barely understand them.

I have the iPhone 12 Pro max....similar concerns and issues. Mine is primarily related to heat and a hesitation/lag when trying to force close apps. I don't think these forums help, because all we do as loyal customers are complain, try and self diagnose, get ridiculous technical support, and then all we do is complain. Not ONE of these get read by apple and someone in apple who can actually make a change. Premium phone and crap quality.

I was having the volume issue as well, and was able to solve it by working with the settings in my car using Car Play. The different inputs have different controls and I needed to go in to setup each one independently - Radio and Media for example. Media - when I connected my iPhone was very quiet and this was a combination of start-up volume and another volume control was also set to 'minimum' by default. Changing these, I can now switch between radio, media, bluetooth/wired connection and get the same audio levels.

I can’t explain the difference, but it’s not a universal issue.

I have the same issue with my lens getting hot also when I got to take a video on front camera my screen starts like flickering.

There is a software issue or a application that causes the speaker to stop working.

Well, I figured out my problem; I accidentally put my screen protector on upside down and it was blocking the speaker. Oops! All good now! 🎶 I can hear clearly now, the shield is gone...

Replacement phone won’t fix the issue. I got a replacement phone and it still has the stuttering issue.
