Safari freeze when create a password in safari or reset a password

Sick of this , first started November 2020 , had about 4 updates since including last night to latest iOS and still it fixed , what do these idiots do all day , I spent a week sending logs over and videos of the problem to apple who said would send to engineers but still no fix.

I don’t want to delete my passwords or auto fill or use private mode or not use safari I just want it like it was . Strange as my partner has latest iPhone pro 12 max and has never suffered from this problem and we have identical settings , I believe it must have been a problem whilst updating to from iOS 13 to iOS 14 then because hers was already on the latest iOS and she just transferred everything over from her old iPhone XS .

But some of us don’t want two factor thingy , it should be fixed without doing this . My partner doesn’t have two factor enabled and yet her iPhone 12 on latest iOS is fine so what’s causing this should be corrected by apple

I’m totally aggravated- I don’t want private mode or not do auto fill - I want them to fix this!!! I’m trying to remember when it started and think it is after last update - I hate updates - always screw things up - I thought it was cause I have iPhone 7 Plus older phone

I've tried everything in this thread but still no fix. We're hampered even more because these are Macbook's on 11.2.3 with managed Apple ID's, so no option to tick keychain in iCloud settings.

Did you ever find a solution for this? My phone recently started freezing anytime I get to a password filed. Works fine on everything else, but then I get to the password and my whole safari is frozen.

It’s been happening on my 11 pro max. I think I was able to make it work once but it was really slow and I could keep tapping on the same button. I’m at the point where I was going to get the pro max 12 but if it has the same issue then there is no sense in doing it. Do we have to switch to an android phone in order to register with anything with a password?

So tired of this APPLE phone problem with resetting passwords through an email link!! Every time I need to access a page that I have forgotten password for, then try to reset, my phone freezes on the reset page!! I have to go on my old slow pc laptop cause I can’t afford a MacBook!! Beyond frustrating!!!! Fix the problem Apple!!!

I just got a iPhone 12 and the same thing is happening to me. It’s so annoying as I do everything on my phone for work and I can’t create a password on any website :(

That's not true. Private Browsing is affected as well. Also, if you visit the same site again in normal mode, you would still experience the freeze

I have the same problem with my iPad Air 4th generation.

I have the same problem with my New MacBook Pro M1 - freezes on any website which requires me to put a password in.

Also having the same issue, only started since the latest update, SO frustrating! Following for a fix! How do you turn on private browsing!!
