Safari freeze when create a password in safari or reset a password

Same!!! Once I get to the point to create a password on a new site I’m joining or creating a profile for it just freezes!!! Has happened on Chrysler Financial, NYS DMV, Shoeshowmega and Sportztv within the matter of 24 hours after updating to 14.2.1 on my iPhone 12 pro max 512gb.... please fix this ASAP Apple! Now I have to get out of bed and go downstairs to get on my iMac at 130am. Not that I’m lazy but I should be able to do it right here on the best phone in the world right now. 🤷🏽‍♂️

**** annoying especially this time of year when needing to register on loads of sites for Christmas deliveries , keep forgetting to go into private browsing then the whole thing locks up for ages

I'm using it with an iCloud account but my devices keep asking me for the apple password time and time again. It is getting old fast. I also do not have two factor ID on and do not want it. I don't carry more than one device around for 95% of the time I use my phone. It is a huge hassle. As I am trying this, my phone wants my PW again!! Fourth time today.

i just updated to ios 14.3 today, and still have the same issue. done everything they say to do, clear cache, delete history, restart phone lol can’t get far anywhere without having to clear safari out and start over. please fix!!

I’m having the exact same issue! This is ridiculous especially this time of year when creating new accounts or updating info or even logging in to existing accounts! Only started doing this when my phone AUTOMATICALLY updated! (Taking that off immediately) FIX THIS!

I am having the same problem on my iPhone 12 Pro Max (iOS 14.2.1). Apple needs to get its act together and find a fix. For the amount of money this phone costs, I should not feel the need to go back to my old Samsung Galaxy phone.

I have been facing this issue when creating a new profile on Safari through my Iphone11 or when resetting a password. All fields are active but then when you go enter a password the screen freezes and then the entire Safari application freezes and you no longer can do anything. You have to exit and go back. Sometimes you don’t realize but it fills the field and since you’re tapping on the screen may enter something and you get “incorrect” password which could cause even further issues for locking people out of sites. I have deleted cookie history and website history thinking that was the root cause but it only happens on my IPhone 11 and it’s been like this since November. Please advise. Please fix.

What amazes me is the 5 pages of posts from people experiencing this problem and not one person from Apple has chimed in or even acknowledged this problem. Horrible customer support. On the other hand if you went to an Apple store, you would find tons of reps, all trying to sell you something. 🤦‍♂️ Fix this 💩 Apple!

Every time I try to change my Password on any account My Safari app Freezes. I close the app, clear data and cookies to see if things would change but to no avail. Nothing changes. Anyone with a solution please share.

Do apple ever read these ? Still no sign of a fix , it’s even affecting my input under Nike running club with my runs , taking and age to save data after a run . Been an apple user for 6/7 years now but this has been the worst ever . I even had about 4/5 phone calls with apple support back in December and sent logs and screen shots over and she said apple engineers will sort it . Still waiting

Do they even read this ? It’s been like this since November , an update came out an but never touched the problem , will we have to wait for iOS 15 in September . It’s a joke and for the first time in years considering spending my money elsewhere

Thanks, but, for me, this isn't much, if any, better than my current workaround... I can't use two-phase authorization conveniently and I don't find the use of keychain desirable...

I also have same problem with my iphone 12, its really driving me crazy, I enter all data asked by any site and then when time comes to fill up the password box suddenly I cannot even click inside the box, let alone filling it, and then the safari page refreshes erasing all data I have entered along with it. Whats going on apple? When are you going to fix this? Its already several months with this.

As you can see by this thread, it’s been going on for a long time. When I let my iPhone save my password and use face ID I can get in about anywhere. It’s just impossible to open new accounts on my phone and there’s still a few other things I can’t do. How many people are jumping ship away from Apple because of this? It’s absurd.

I actually don’t think Apple know about this issue, which is kind of strange. You would think Apple employees use iPhones & iPads. So, they must be suffering from the same problems.

Why haven’t any of the software engineers at Cupertino, told management about this issue?

Or maybe they all use Samsung smart phones 😂😂😂
