big-sur upgrade causing a problem with mail

I updated my Macbook Air (2015) to Big Sur OS. Since then, when I delete an email, it doesn't go to my trash folder so I cannot find or recover any deleted emails. Have checked my preferences and it's set up for deleted mails to go to trash. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I was able to add "all trash" folder by selecting hovering over "Favorites" in the mail sidebar and selecting +. Trash shows up as option to add to your sidebar, and that's where I found my deleted mails. Hope that works for you.

That is not the case for me. I can't find my deleted e-mails anywhere. I called Apple support and they have given me no answer. Very frustrating. I know every time I upgrade to a new version on my MacBook Air there are always some fixes sent shortly afterwards. It even affected a program I have DVO Cook'n and they say only Apple can fix it. Not sure how true that is so I'm going to cancel my DVO Cook'n support that I pay $9.95 month for.
