Video zoom in issues on iPhone 12 Pro

Hello, do anyone experience the obvious lens changes when you zoom in while recording video on iPhone 12 pro? The result is very obvious and you will see the scene you take will hiccups and distort... I even updated to the latest iOS 14.2 and not sure is it iOS bug or the hardware problem. I think this never happen on iPhone 11 Pro which also 3 lens and the transition of changing lens not obvious like my iPhone 12 pro. Can anyone can help on this issues?

On my iPhone 12 Pro, while shooting video only, when transitioning from .9x to 1X and from 1.9x to 2x, the picture goes totally “muddy brown” (odd) momentarily both zooming “up” and “down”. Personally, I feel this is mechanical not electronic. IOS is currently 14.2.1. This renders any videos useless. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.
