Epson Stylus NX420 Won't Reinstall After Update to OS Big Sur

Hello all. My Epson printer was working fine on OS Catalina until updating to Big Sur. It won't reinstall. I've read similar issues here in the Community with other Epson model printers, and the message from Epson seems to be to backdown to Catalina, but I don't want to do that. I need to print.

How do I re-add my Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer to my iMac desktop system after upgrading to the Big Sur OS? I'm getting various errors. Recently, I upgraded my iMac desktop's operating system to Big Sur. Now, my Epson Stylus PHOTO R220 printer is not recognized, and thus I cannot print. How do I add my printer back since upgrading to Big Sur? Also, I am low on printer cartridge ink, and the red light is blinking on my printer, just in case that has anything to do with things. My iMac model number is A2116 (21.5-INCH). I would appreciate any assistance anyone could provide. Thank you.

“EPSON Scan.app” needs to be updated for Catalina. Since updating to Catalina, my Epson XP-200 printer still prints from my iMac and it works as a copier, but the scanner and the "Event Manager" don't work. When I open the scanner app, a popup says: “EPSON Scan.app” needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information. When I open the Event Manager (which allowed my wife's tablet to use my printer) a popup says: Epson Event Manager Cannot find the scanner. Install your scanner driver software. When I run Epson Software Updater, it says my Epson software is up to date. I've tried searching for the missing driver, checked both Epson issues and MacOS Catalina issues and I get nothing but dead ends.

v10.85 driver solved my issue.
