I subscribed to Apple one just to streamline my purchases and get news+/fitness+ for my family for only 5 more per month than I was spending. After subscribing though I was still charged for my iCloud storage. Has anyone else experienced this?

It doesn't do what it says it will do. I am still being charged for iCloud Storage I set up for my kids. I tried to invite them to join Apple One's 2TB storage. They get a message they already belong to a Family and can't join. WTF
It was supposed to roll over into the Apple one payment but didn’t.
