Running Big Sur on a MacBook Pro. The Apple Podcasts app frequently uses 100%+ cpu.
When switching from menu to menu it takes at least 1 minute to get content. I even turned off podcast episode automatic download. This doesn't change anything.

I used App Cleaner to remove all files. Except for Podcast app itself because it should show as locked.
Started using another podcast playing software because Apple Podcast was unusable. So I tried to remove Apple Podcast with AppCleaner. The Podcast app can't be removed (locked) but all the supporting Library files can be removed. So I click remove all. Then I opened Apple Podcast and everything worked fast. So now I'm back to the Apple Podcast app on macOS.
Hi - how did you remove the library files? I downloaded App Cleaner and don't seem to have that option...only to completely remove (which of course I can't do). Thanks.
