I have a couple of dropped pins on my maps app for Big Sur (not on my phone) and I can't remove them? They are not added to any favorites or contacts and "remove pin" or "delete" is not an option when I click on it.

I'm not on Big Sur here, are you sure you are Control-clicking on the Pin.
Your screenshot just looks like you are clicking on the pin.
Is there anything in the Edit menubar item, Drop or Remove a Pin used to be available there.
I did try control clicking, using the menu bar and everything :/ But somehow I was able to get rid of it by making it a marked location and THEN deleting it. But now it zooms in on my home address every time I open it. I'd much rather prefer that than an old work address, I guess
If you Control-click on the Pin do you not get the Remove Pin option.
Nope, no remove option and no trash can option either. It also zooms in on that pin every time i open the maps app on my lap top.
