After switching iPhone on get a message locking the screen saying : “allow public 00:00:00:00:00:00 to display your iPhone notifications “. Have “Allow” or “don’t allow” options, but neither unlocks the screen. Has anyone else experienced the same ?

I had the same issue with IOS 14.2.1 and mitigated the problem disable Bluetooth too, but to solve the problem I enrolled my iPhone 12 Pro on the IOS Beta program and I just installed IOS 14.3 Beta 3, looks like it resolved the issue with Bluetooth on.

When Apple release IOS 14.3 you just need to erase the Beta Profile from your iPhone and start using 14.3 release. This worked for me.

When I woke up I noticed my iPhone software had updated while I was sleeping and the same notice listed above is stuck on my phone too

“allow public 00:00:00:00:00:00 to display your iPhone notifications “. Have “Allow” or “don’t allow”

I turned off my bluetooth and it seems to have stopped for the moment - Thank you

what happens next? Should I be contacting Apple?

I ran into the same issue (iPhone 12 Pro Max while test driving new cars for some reason). Super frustrating 1) I reset my Network Settings and that made the pop up go away. 2) BUT now my phone can’t receive network data... as in, it successfully connects to both cell networks (5G and LTE) and WiFi networks (both existing and new) but I can’t connect to any network services. No web pages will load. No apps can connect. 3) The odd part? Phone calls still work over a cell network (but not WiFi). Text messaging appears to work. And I get some but not all push notifications.

Anyone else having similar issues? Any recommended solutions? Feels like something is off with the network stack but no fiddling seems to have helped. I am hoping to avoid erasing and restoring from backup. 😬
