iTunes dosen't recognize my iPhone.

I can't update iTunes ,

I am using MacOS Big Sur,

iPhone X

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. We see that your Mac running Big Sur macOS 11 doesn't recognize your iPhone X. We're glad to help.

You mention needing to update iTunes. In Big Sur, iTunes is no longer used to connect your iPhone to your Mac.

Instead, you'll need to use the Finder, as described here:
