Can we use the HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M 28-M31 in our motorhome with AirPrint or Wi-Fi without the printer and IPAD connected to the same internet?

We have a hard time connecting our Air Printer to the same WI-FI internet when we are traveling in our motorhome. How does Air Print W-FI Direct work in motorhomes
