Remote install app on iphone 11

Hi, I gifted my Dad an iphone 11. However, my dad is not so tech savvy. So he asks me to install an app if he wants something. Once app is setup, he can easily use it if he is familiar with it. Can I install or manage apps on my dad's device remotely? I am going through latest itunes and I have added his account on my laptop. However, I only see music on there. I am unable to figure out how to remotely add apps to his phone. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello, unfortunately the short answer is No, you can't remote install apps on iPhone.. You have to use a third party Mobile Device Management (MDM) or host your own MDM.. that's not a very straight forward solution.

Maybe as a workaround, you can send him a link for the app he needs from the App Store (example: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/apple-store/id375380948) via iMessage or WhatsApp or any chatting app so that he can simply click on the link and the Apple Store will automatically open on the needed app so he just clicks "GET".

Hope that helps!
