iPhone SE 2020 18w power adapter

Anyone else having issues using this adapter?


Every time I use the 18w adapter w USB c to lightning my iPhone SE Will charge for roughly 1 minute then stop charging. Will work again if I unplug then plug back in and then it just stops charging again


the charger works fine with every other Apple device of mine. And my phone charges fine with other cables. What gives??

Same here. New iPhone SE. Spent good money on a 18W USB-C Apple charger (fast charger) and an Apple fast charge capable cable. The Apple site says that it should work to fast charge the new iPhone SE. However, I have the same exact problem. It charges for a minute and stops as if the phone cannot handle it. I suspect a bad temp sensor in these phones and it is overheating. Not sure how to get a replacement phone when all of the Apple stores are shut down.
