Cant' update to Big Sur - update not found the requested version of macos is not available

I have a MacBook Pro late 2013 and when I look for updates in System Preferences I have nothing to update. If I try to update to Big Sur by App Store I receive the following sentence:

update not found the requested version of macos is not available

I am very disappointed about this. All server status are on, the OS has been released 11 days ago and I have no VPN or other programs running that could create problems. Obviously I have enough space in the HD.

I had same issue on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017). It turns out that I had to install other updates, which were not shown in System Preferences. I've listed all available updates from terminal:

sudo softwareupdate -l

This command found two updates: "macOS Catalina Security Update" and "Safari14.0.3CatalinaAuto". After installing them with following command:

sudo softwareupdate -i -a

and restarting the system I was able to upgrade to Big Sur from System Preferences.

CatalogURL doesn't exist. But I don't want to install a beta OS, I would like to have the definitive release :D

I hope that with the first patch our problem will be fixed at this point.

didn't help on my system. <The message after the first command was "Software Update can only ignore updates that are eligible for installation.">
