Cloud Music Library (Genius results can't be updated right now)

Hi there! for the past two or three days my macbook has been unable to connect to my iCloud music library. whenever i try to reconnect i get an error that says Genius results cant be updated right now. The network connection was lost. I know that my network connection is strong and stable so that shouldn't be an issue. i looked up the error and followed steps like reauthorizing my iTunes, and logging out and into iTunes. is there any suggestions that someone could give me?
