Hi, SesiliV.
Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.
We were sorry to hear that you’ve been experiencing issues with using your AirPods as a Bluetooth headset on your new computer. It sounds like you may be intermittently losing the connection, and we have a few suggestions that may help.
Before we jump in, do you regularly connect your AirPods to an updated iOS or iPadOS device? This connection is how your AirPods firmware stays up-to-date. If you don’t connect with one of those devices, we may need to explore options for borrowing an Apple device from a friend or family member for a few minutes or visiting an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
If you generally pair with an updated Apple device, your AirPods are likely updated and we can move on to some basic troubleshooting. First, try the steps in this article:
When you get to the “Uninstall the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager” reset your AirPods after you restart your PC. Here’s how to reset:
With your AirPods in the case, open the line and press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds. You should see the light flashing amber. Keep your AirPods case open and close to your computer, and follow the instructions on the computer screen to pair them again.
Finally, make sure that you’re not around anything that may cause wireless interference between your computer and AirPods. For example, stay close to your computer so that no obstructions, like walls or floors, are between you and your computer. If possible, you may want to move away from places with many people or a lot of Wi-Fi activity, poorly shielded cables, microwave ovens, and wireless speakers as they may be causing signal interference.
Warmest Regards.
