I need help on calculator + I know the developer is still out there, because I’m still getting charged a monthly fee for the app that won’t open because they have not updated it. Where is the Fee going to?
Thank you for your reply, I have checked every single folder, every folder has sub-folder named 'library', but can't see 'data', Now I'm doing another backup just in case of missing anything in the first one.
I have really important data in CalC+
and its not working on IOS 14.2
can any1 kindly provide me the developers contact? or any info
so i can extract my data and documents from their Server.
Please help
Thank you for the link to recover files.
I have located the app under com.onewave.lockedphotosvideoscalc
I have recovered photos and video files in the ‘library’ and under ‘application support’ folder but have been unable to locate documents and notes in this app.
There is a couple of .sqlite files in the folder. Could these be the documents/notes I am looking for? When exported the files present in code. Is there a conversion for sqlite?
TIA.
I TOTALLY agree!! It IS BS!!! And they should have given us a warning that they weren't going to update it, so we could've obtained another similar account to resave our crap in. I don't use a MAC so I'm screwed!
Does anyone have any idea of how to recover photos from Calc+ without being able to open it? Would t be possible to load an older operating system and recover the photos and then reload the latest operating software?
I don’t blame the developer for this problem. I blame Apple. They need to warn users if a app will not work after a update so you can take whatever means necessary to secure data from the app before updating. Apple clearly doesn’t have a way to do that. Apple if your reading this, get it done.
I could care less about what Apple is discussing with developers. What I’m talking about is a compatibility check of your current apps before you update the the new IOS. Such as “ WARNING, THESE APPS WILL NOT WORK AFTER UPDATE. DO YOU WISH TO CONTINUE”. that simple check would solve a lot of problems. Again, I blame Apple. They should be reading these posts.
Then you don’t actually care if any of your apps are updated or not?
Apple has no way to test every app there is to see whether they have updated their app in a timely fashion the provide you with an advance warning.
So you wait before you update and ask the developer if they are going to update their app any time soon. If you don’t here back, or your email bounces, and the app hasn’t been updated in two years, you move all the documents you can out of the app and then update.
You chose this app (I don’t see the point of the app) and it is your job to keep up with it and the developer.
It’s not my responsibility to make sure apps work when Apple releases a update, it’s their responsibility to make sure apps work. If I have a app I use and the developer is no longer updating the app, it’s apple’s responsibility to make sure my apps work after a update. They do approve apps before posting them in the App Store. So asking for a simple app compatibility check before a update is not asking much.

No, you have it backwards. If it was Apple’s responsibility to ensure every 3rd party app works with every update there would never be an update. It would take a massive number of people to do this. And it would be a monopolistic practice.
When you purchased that unnecessary app from a third party Apple told you that they bore no responsibility for the workings of the app. And you entered into whatever agreement the 3rd party app had.
Apple also has an agreement with the developer to provide them with development tools and beta builds in a timely manner.
The rest is between you and the 3rd party developer.
Ok. I guess I didn’t make myself clear. When I say third part software, I meant windows software to extract the data. I don’t agree with you that’s it’s between me and the developer. It’s provided by apples store, they are responsible for them. I will not be posting on this thread again.

Hey friends we all have similar problems with the Calculator+, has anyone been able to recover documents and photos, just need to know if something really works, my belief is that Apple shares some responsibility and can intervene in our behalf or can help us find a solution, we enjoy Apple we enjoy Apple and trust they will have our back…… Apple has the power and technology to do so, thank for listening
