Does Rosetta 2 support 32-bit Intel apps?

Will Rosetta 2 allow Apple silicon computers to run 32-bit applications that require an Intel processor?

I would imagine that eventually, just as PowerPC apps were rendered inoperable, Intel only apps will become unusable on M1 and later processors.

I'd say that will take quite a while to happen, though. Apple is still making and selling Intel based Macs and there is a large installed base of Intel based Macs out there.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. At least now for 5 or 6 years.

That is pure speculation and the difference is, Intel-powered computers are unlikely to disappear.

Those who have just spent $15-20K and even more would be more than

just a bit perturbed.
