I used to be able to view pdf's in one preview window and easily drag preview windows together into one window with tabs for each pdf. Has this been changed in the Big Sur update?

How it's done has changed. Make sure "Show Tab Bar" is selected from the "View" menu for each window then drag the tab from one window to the other tab bar.

I found that when you delete the originals, it also wipes the copies. To make a permanent copy, I need to do one further step and go to print the new file, then “save as PDF”
