AirPods Pro case not working

Today I woke up and for some reason my right AirPod was dead and the left one was fully charged regardless of both being in the case. I checked the battery of the case and it said 98% so I wasn’t sure what was going on. I connected it to power and noticed that as soon as I disconnected it, the light would turn off suggesting the case was actually dead. Anyway I went on to try resetting them and put “forget this device” on setting but when I went back to connect them, pressing the setup button did nothing

II. Try the Following Tasks:

  • Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.
  • Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)
  • Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.
