AirPod Problems

I recently lost my AirPod case before going on a trip and decided to still bring my AirPods themselves knowing that I had a friend there who had a case. I put my AirPods in and it didn’t really do much except…make both me, and my friend’s AirPods not connect. I got home and found the case. The AirPod menu doesn’t come up when I open the case, the double tapping feature barely works and at this point doesn’t work at all, and finally to top it off, I attempted to reset them and had managed to make a whole new problem. The setup button lights the case up green but eventually turns off after a couple seconds instead of turning white. A problem I forgot to list as well was them not disconnecting when being put in the case(before they all together disappeared).

I don’t know if they’re fixable without me needing them repaired, whether they absolutely need repaired, or If I just need another pair. Thanks for reading, hope to get some suggestions.
