Can't upload files to websites whilst using Safari and Chrome on MacBook

Hi,

I'm having issues with my MacBook Pro, in which I cant upload files to certain websites.

I need to upload videos to Dropbox or WeTransfer on a daily basis, but when I click the 'Upload' button on both platforms, nothing happens.

This didn't use to be the case, but it is now the case when using both Safari and Chrome. I can still upload on platforms such as Facebook Creator Studio, but not others.

How can I get rid of this issue? I have tried restarting my laptop and that hasn't worked...

Thanks!

G

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?
