screen time hack to bypass screen time by changing the local time or date

Did not take long for my daughter to realize you can change the date and/or time locally on her iphone X to bypass downtime on her phone. I've already tried the fix that is mentioned numerous times, which says to utilize the content and privacy restrictions and set location services to "Don't Allow Changes", but this does not work. She can still go in and modify the local time or date to get more screen time.

This ridiculously easy hack that any 7 year old could do makes the parental screen time controls (which Apple has promoted endlessly) completely useless. It also makes Android devices much more attractive since their open source allows for endless options of 3rd parent parental controls.

Yes, I know that a simple solution is "parenting". No trolls needed to mention that. That's not the point.... the screen time is supposed to function to help us. If the map app does not work, should I also not complain because the "real" solution is just printing out directions online? Of course that is a work around, but the map app should work. Yes, I can "parent" my daughter, and obviously I do that, but it doesn't mean I should not complain about the screen time feature not working.

Please, can someone at Apple tell me how to fix this simple hack to bypass downtime?

Thank you.

iPhone XR, iOS 14
