Location Services grayed out

Location Services grayed out

In Privacy, My Location Services button is on but "grayed out", as are all of the app location allowable usage choices. I've googled this issue and it continues to tell me to go to my "restrictions" to check and see if that somehow was chosen in error but I don't even have a "restrictions" tab to check. I've done reset for Location and Privacy, no change. I've done a hard restart of my phone, no change. Could someone please help me with this?

Also, some apps that need access to my photos don't show up in my photo access info tab. I can't give them permissions from anywhere it seems. TIA for any advice and help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with locations services being grayed out. We are happy to share information that may help.

You mentioned not being able to find the option to check restrictions. You can find that under Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. You can find more information here: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
