iPhone 12 Pro + Mac Mini (M1): Call Dropping when changing Audio from Phone to Mac
Hello!
I didn't seem to find this issue detailed specifically anywhere so I truly apologize if this is a repeat.
I'm having trouble with continuing a call from my iPhone and transferring it to my Mac mini (M1). I had a bit of trouble getting Calling/Wi-Fi Calling on the Mac to work, but it appears as if that's all settled now! I can take calls on the desktop and make calls via the FaceTime app.
However, if I'm on a call on my iPhone 12 Pro, and I tap on Audio -> Mac mini, it just ends the call. Goes quiet for a second, then "Call ended." Then I see the number pop up in my FaceTime history list. Nothing about my Mac would indicate it's not ready to take a call, I have it booted and on the desktop ready to go, connected to the network.
Please pardon as I haven't used Apple products since about 2015 until now and am testing out how I like all of the devices working in tandem. So far, when working, pretty good! This issue, however, is puzzling. I'm not sure if this has happened to others and there's a fix, or if maybe it's a bug with my iPhone or maybe the new Apple silicon, no clue! If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate that!
