MS Office and Teams and Zoom compatibility with M1 MacBook Air?

Greetings,

I've actually just bought both an Intel and M1 MacBook Air, with the intention of giving one to my wife who is working from home as a Christmas gift. I bought the Intel version when it went on sale a couple of weeks ago, before reviews of the M1 came out, because rock solid performance from Word/PowerPoint/Excel plus Teams and Zoom are critical to her work.

All the reviews I've seen of the M1 MBA suggest that there shouldn't be a problem. But, I was wondering whether anyone who uses these apps could possibly provide a testimonial to their reliability (even though none of them has been made universal)? FWIW, we have MS Office as part of a subscription, so we should always be running the latest version of those apps.
