Garageband and Mac OS High Sierra in Macbook PRO Early 2011

The Garageband I have downloaded in 2014 does not run with the Mac OS High Sierra. The new version of Garageband is not compatible with the Sierra, by the way. What should I do? I thought the solution could be to instal the Catalina, since I think it will support the new version of Garageband. Am I right? How to instal the Catalina, if the way is that? I just need the Garageband in my old MacBook Pro! Thank you very much indeed!

The current version of GarageBand at the Mac App Store is a universal binary for intel Macs and Apple Silicon Macs running Big Sur and requires macOS 11, Big Sur. Upgrading to catalina will not help. There is currently no version for any older system version available at all. Can your Mac be upgraded to macOS 11, Big Sur? macOS - How to Upgrade - Apple
