Apply for Apple Store Card

Going good it wants me to scan the front and back of my license. I have done this about 4 different times. I have taken clear photos from my phone and scanned it from a desktop scanner at 600 DPI, each time it says it is unable to read my ID. Although it is completely clear to my human eyes.

I have wasted too much time on this just to open an Apple account for an Ipad Pro and Pencil. This would be one click on Amazon. Let's see, they have my apple ID. They know my purchase history (multiple ipads, Imacs, iphones, etc). They have my home address. They even know my American Express Credit card. If they scanned my browser they have my IP and my where I am applying from.

What could I have done to make this process any easier? This is not what I would call a good Apple experience! I realize this is Goldsman Sachs, but does Apple approve of this process?
