Losing space after remove Bootcamp and that space is not available in Disk Utility

I have lost 40GB after i removed bootcamp partition by using bootcamp tool. That space doesn't show up as available space in Disk Utility.

Can anyone help me with this ?

I then deleted the partition to make a bigger one with 220 gigs. when i made the one with 220 gigs, a problem occurred and i had to restart. the problem was that when i deleted that partition, it did not free up the space on my disk and when i go into disk utility, there is nothing but my disk and my disk data. I freed up some space on my computer and then made another partition to try to override the ghost partition and the same problem occurred. now i have literally half my computers disk storage. please help. thanks.

Lost storage after removing boot camp partition Hello, I ran boot camp assistant to remove my windows partition (to reinstall windows 10) but after some seconds it showed me an error and told me to run first aid from disk utility. I did and there was no error in first aid analysis. now by running the diskutil in terminal I see a "free space" without identifier. I would be grateful if you help me to attach this free space to my main partition.

Lost disk space after deleting bootcamp partitions My drive is 1 TB, i try to install windows and the installation fail. I remove partitions manually from Disk Utility and now I lost 100 GB, that was the size of the partition I was creating for Windows 10.

You should not have Apple_Boot, since the Recovery volume already exists in the APFS container. This is a bug in some versions of BC Assistant. Run

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s3

diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk1 0g

and post the output.
