Music Skips the end of the song.

So I just got a new M1 MacBook Pro, and I applied all the newest OS and App Updates to it.

Whenever I play ANY song on the Mac Music app, It will play the song just fine, but when it gets to about the last 7 seconds it will skip forward about a second, causing a noticeable skip in the track. It does this for every single song unless I fast forward or rewind the song manually then it won't do it for that 1 song where I did this. I've tried restarting the music app, and I've tried restarting my MacBook, neither of which has worked. Is this something that can be fixed now or will I have to wait for an App or OS update for this issue to be fixed? Has anyone else run into this issue?

Oh also all the songs I have are downloaded straight to the device, none of it is streamed from Apple Music.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're experiencing an issue with your music skipping towards the end of your songs. You mentioned that all the songs are downloaded to your MacBook, to clarify, are all the songs from Apple Music or are there purchases from iTunes and/or imports from CD's as well?

You also stated that if you manually fast forward or rewind the song, this skip doesn't occur. To clarify, is that only when you play the song once or does it correct this issue for future playbacks of that track as well?

Let's have you boot your MacBook into safe mode and test it out to see if the same thing occurs. Once you've tested in safe mode, go ahead and reboot and test again under a normal startup to see if the issue continues.

Start up your Mac in safe mode
